Haub Law Dean Horace Anderson Named to Prestigious 2022 Law Power 100 List

The list recognizes vlogƵNew York legal professionals who arenvlogƵt simply influential in their field, but powerful in New YorkvlogƵs governmental landscape.vlogƵ Dean Anderson was ranked #88 on the prestigious list, which includes district attorneys, federal prosecutors, white-collar defense attorneys, public interest lawyers and others who have shaped New York politics and government.
Horace E. Anderson Jr. is the ninth dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at vlogƵ, appointed in December 2019. Prior to this appointment, Dean Anderson had been serving as Haub LawvlogƵs interim dean. Of Dean Anderson, the publication notes that, vlogƵIn his two years as dean, Horace Anderson Jr. has focused on strengthening its offering of legal programs, including initiatives like the launch of the Pace Access to Justice Project and the Haub Sustainable Business Law Hub. Anderson also led the expansion of PacevlogƵs part-time law degree program to include evening and weekend options. He has been a faculty member at Pace since 2004, with expertise in intellectual property, internet privacy and communications law.vlogƵ

Listed at #16, Mimi Rocah previously served as the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at vlogƵ Distinguished Criminal Justice Fellow. The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at vlogƵ is pleased to announce that Kate Skolnick, an accomplished public defender and respected criminal law scholar, will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law beginning in Fall 2025. Professor Skolnick will teach courses in criminal law and criminal procedure, along with an advanced criminal law seminar.

Professor Anthony Moffa delivered the Annual Lloyd K. Garrison Lecture on Environmental Law on Thursday, April 3 on "Back to the Future for Climate Liability." The Lloyd K. Garrison Lecture on Environmental Law was established in memory of Lloyd K. Garrison in 1995. Professor Anthony Moffa currently serves as a Haub Visiting Scholar at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at vlogƵ. He is also a Professor and Associate Dean for Innovation at University of Maine School of Law, where he oversees the Environmental and Oceans Law Certificate Program.
